Start with the assets or conditions that need attention. A project may focus on selected infrastructure, utility information, building operations or environmental monitoring. Define who needs the information and what decision it should support before expanding the system’s scope.
Connect field information with existing operations
Skymics provides IoT and sensor integration, LoRaWAN network design and deployment, edge gateway configuration and industrial protocol bridging. Telemetry and SCADA integration can be scoped where existing operational systems are part of the requirement.
The network and interfaces must fit the use case. Infrequent field measurements and time-sensitive operational data may need different communication paths and update intervals.
Apply analytics to a clear operational question
Discuss predictive analytics and anomaly detection to review trends and highlight unusual readings. Where a task calls for local model execution, on-device edge ML can be evaluated against the selected equipment and deployment requirements.
Analytics supports investigation and planning; it does not automatically authorise physical control or establish suitability for emergency response or other safety-critical decisions.
